I take back what I just said about the cap having a safety pressure seal after reading this. It's some kind of gas-permeable seal that keeps the adblue in without blocking the gas/air from entering the tank because of adblue crystallisation, hence venting the tank. FYI, the cap was recalled and replaced by Citroen Malaysia.

The AdBlue tank on my Vauxhall Combo (which is similar to the Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner) is about 15l capacity, but there is no gauge for it. I have learnt that when you get the "Starting impossible in XXXkm" there is over 10L capacity available in the AdBlue tank.
