Posted February 19, 2018. No, there are no skins outside the gemstore (yet). That said, gliders have a handfull of (expensive) skins,So its not that far of a stretch we’ll maybe get an obtainable set of skins one day.Although i’m on the fence of how it’ll work since the glider’s are the result of legendary backpacks. The first item in the collection is the Banners of the Sunspear. This is an exotic back item that looks pretty similar to the ascended back item you get from completing this entire achievement. To get this, you will need to ally with the Sunspear Order while completing the 'Blazing a Trail' chapter. This is the second chapter in the Path of

To obtain the Riddle of the Firebrand ring, which is one of the steps in the Expurgation Specialization Collections achievement, you need to have a Jackal mount. You’ll have to use Mastery Points in order to boost your mount until it reaches Level 3. The skill you’re gunning for is Shifting Sands, which does require some grinding. This mount skin can be dyed. It has 4 dye channels: lower part of the body, upper part of the body, stripes and the saddle straps (affects unique animation colors too). The eyes and golden part of the saddle cannot be dyed. Has unique dodge, mount/dismount animations.

I still emptied my bank in order to get enough gems to buy it, even though I hardly EVER use the jackal mount, but I agree with the others in that it SHOULD have been a warclaw skin. Again, the 2 tiger-like warclaw skins are tiger-y, but they just aren't as nice as the white tiger mount. It's like the Chuka and Champawat legendary shortbow.

The Primal Spirit appears and disappears from a large circular patch or herbs with glowing flowers. The Primal Spirit leaves patches of herbs with glowing flowers, but it may not happen on some surfaces. The Primal Spirit leaves a trail of glistening dust, deciduous foliage and fireflies. The Primal Spirit will summon a patch of flowering herbs

Not air or water. The mount in question is not the griffon but the Jackal. Griffon needs height to get their speed and they do best in air. No one is disputing that. Beetle is also good at their strength. But not when there are a lot of obstacles and terrain. Every mount is good, which is the main point here. There is no "useless" mount. But that makes no sense - the jackal is a mount that is hardly used and most folks wont want to spend much on it, especially as they like picked up a decent skin from random mount contracts anyhow. Warclaws are used constantly by WVW players and they have hardly any ability to get decent, single skins due to the way the skins are released at Griffon makes lots of the Skyscale collections effortless, but that's the lowest benefit of getting Griffon. Definitely the best mount in my opinion by far, with Jackal being best land-only mount. Skyscale has its benefits, but more often than not I am only using it to reach a higher starting point for my Griffon with Bond of Faith.
